The residency program directors at the North Shore Hospital System at LIJ had a vision of an innovative program designed to teach diagnostic and decision-making skills, first to residents and then to students in its new medical school opening in 2011. The program directors recognized that the technology they needed to bring this program to fruition was possible-so long as they found the right partner to build it.
At that point, they approached AIS Solutions, recognizing that the custom online software team offered not only the required programming and technical capabilities, but also the passion for using technology to teach decision making and develop problem-based learning experience.
